The beating heart of the Pustertal Valley, a quaint alpine town on the banks of the Rienz river, a medieval jewel with a stunning mountain backdrop: Bruneck/Brunico is a town with many faces – and even more things to see and do! Whatever you want from your holiday, from adrenaline-pumping adventures to absolute peace and quiet, this picturesque town located at the intersection between the Tauferer Ahrntal, the Gardertal and the Pustertal valleys has exactly what you are looking for. Some of the most popular activities during the summer months include cycling, hiking and mountainbiking, while in winter many visitors come to the region for cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking and alpine skiing.
Bruneck/Brunico itself, in particular the medieval oldtown area, has a unique charm thanks to its many historic buildings such as Bruneck Castle perched in the mountains high above. The Stadtgasse lies at the heart of Bruneck/Brunico. This narrow passage dating back to the Middle Ages is home to many small shops and renowned boutiques as well as cafés and wine bars. The local population is also known throughout South Tyrol as being open, friendly and welcoming.
We look forward to giving the participants in the Shimano E-Bike Experience a traditionally warm welcome in Bruneck/Brunico!
